Fundraising Campaign
On December 5, 2007 Radys Children broke ground on a much needed new Acute Care Pavilion. A new Hematology/Oncology wing, featuring 38 private rooms with welcoming family amenities. The Friends of Scott has pledged to sponsor a new Bone Marrow Playroom where a child who is undergoing a bonemarrow transplant can play freely without worrying about germs. I know the toll cancer takes on the entire family; this is why the Friends of Scott has also pledged a new Wellness Center. A place for families to clear their mind, body and spirit. To make this possible I need your help. Friends of Scott Prom 2008
FSF is getting ready to host the 2nd annual
"Unforgettable Prom™ Night"
March 29, 2008 – at the San Diego Hall of Champions, an evening of normalcy
for teens with cancer and other life threatening illnesses. Prom is the highlight
of a teenager's high school years. However, most of these children have never or
will never experience the thrill of Prom. Our goal is to make this the most memorable
experience of their lifetime!!
